AssetCore announces sign up with Allen & Overy
Allen & Overy has joined a growing list of professional firms operating in the housing sector that have signed up to the AssetCore system.
A&O advises banks and counterparties, issuers and borrowers and trustees on all areas of financing and security work in the sector, and in particular has advised on the vast majority of public bond transactions in the housing sector to date. The fact that the international legal practice is now AssetCore enabled will support HAs using the system by providing fast and efficient delivery of loan security to support financing transactions.
Geoff Fuller, capital markets partner, commented, “We look forward to working with the AssetCore team as they continue to embed their asset data and loan security system in the sector and to working alongside clients who wish us to be ‘AssetCore enabled.”
AssetCore provides housing associations with a dedicated system to store, manage, analyse, and report on all their loan security data and asset information in an efficient, clear and intuitive manner. At the same time, AssetCore enables RPs to easily share their data and documents with their lenders, trustees and professional advisors.
Since its launch in November 2015, AssetCore has signed up a number of leading RP and Non-RP names and has a rapidly growing new client pipeline. AssetCore is continuing to make strong progress towards establishing itself as the housing market-wide solution which was originally envisaged.
